Launch of the Family Cycling Library and first Family Ride of 2017 on Sunday 5th March
The launch of the Family Cycling Library will be on Sunday 5th March 2017 - whoo, whooo!
It's been running for some time by Ruth-Anna Macqueen on an informal basis, and now there's funding from TfL's Cycling Grants London to ramp it up a gear.
On the same day, we're running our first Family Bike Ride of 2017.
The Library is located just off London Fields and a map of the exact location will follow soon.
Meet there at 10am for an hour of checking out what we've got, and borrowing something if you fancy a child seat, toddler support seat, children's bike, trailer.....
Then at 11am we'll gather by London Fields Lido in London Fields for the bike ride (to start approx 11:20am). Bring a picnic if the weather is up to it! we won't be going far, just a mile or two to another nearby [ark.
The rides are marshalled and have cargobike support.
Check out the Family Cycling Hackney event page on Facebook for more info.
See you there!
